As well as being a mobile DJ Peter has worked as a professional radio presenter over the years on numerous stations including Yorkshire Coast Radio in Scarborough, Minster FM in York, Lincs FM in Lincoln and Trax FM in Doncaster.

Peter is married to Megan and they are proud parents to Isla and Isaac.
Peter has a Cockapoo called Ozzy.

In addition to spinning tunes, Peter is also actively involved within his community and travels to various musical events. When he's not providing great music for people, Peter enjoys spending time with his family, and friends at home.

The All New Music Show With JJ Kane is about unsigned and emerging artists of all genres of music. It is very John Peel in its approach to new music. All good music deserves to be on the radio, not just the minority who are dictated to by record labels . So this is where I showcase new music from all over the world.

JJ Kane has been in the music industry for over 16 years, doing everything from sound engineering, producing,and touring.  As a singer songwriter, JJ won a John Lennon Songwriting Competition, and her song Angel secured her a publishing deal with in 3 weeks of release, to which JJ still to this day can't believe and is very humble about it even now as she wrote the song for her soon to be son IshI Kane.

  JJ has been described as a MAVERICK in this side of the industry as she does things her own way, and gets results . JJ always gives unsigned artists a voice and never takes No for an answer.

Musical selection tends to be on the fringe of mainstream pop and rock as well as many other music genres such as indie rock, pop rock, alternative rock, alternative country, jazz, folk, world music and blues. The musical selections tend to avoid hard rock and rap music. Music selection also includes tracks from albums that are not singles, which leads to the enhanced and larger playlist. Some AAA outlets focus more on classic rock artists, folk and blues while others focus on more contemporary artists and modern/indie rock.

Triple-A songs, some of which first break out on AAA, sometimes chart on the Adult Top 40, modern rock, or adult contemporary charts. Additionally, on July 10, 2008 Billboard began a Triple-A chart (using information from sister-publication Radio and Records, a news magazine devoted to the radio and the music industries that has since ceased publication). Rival Mediabase 24/7 also compiles a Triple A chart. As of mid-2009, Radio and Records publications and accompanying charts were discontinued. As of 2010, Billboard publishes Triple A charts in the magazine and for its premium members on its website. Mediabase also publishes Triple A charts.

Additional Triple-A charts are published by CMJ and FMQB. FMQB also produces the annual Triple A Conference in Boulder, Colorado, USA, an event that grew out of the Gavin Report's Triple A Summit, first held in 1993. FMQB took over production of the event, rebranding it as the Triple A Conference, after the closing of Radio & Records in 2009.
